Urban Forestry
Our Work
Urban Forestry

Dense, native, Miyawaki-method forests in African cities.

We design and install ultra-dense urban forests — 3 to 5 saplings per square meter, all native — that grow 10× faster and absorb 30× more CO₂ than conventional plantations. From Nairobi schools to Lagos public parks, our urban forests cut local temperatures by up to 4.5°C.

Outcomes to date

  • 212 urban forests installed
  • Up to 4.5°C local cooling measured
  • Bird species count up 3.4× within 24 months
  • PM2.5 reduced 22% within 200m radius

Our approach

01
